from bittersweet ocean
of root and deep desire
we came within a swirl
of dance on crystals
of sparkling salt

dance within tangles of breath
dance within furious convolution
of dark sky jaw open wide
swallowing us into its bosom
its sea of turmoil and anger

of sun, of sunset
of moon, of whirling cloud
of dance into long night
